Small Craft Advisories are in effect through this evening across the Atlantic and Gulf waters and have replaced the previous Tropical Storm Warning. Additionally, a Coastal Flood Statement is in effect for the Gulf coast for today's high tide cycle.
A Heat Advisory has been issued for Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties until 6pm today. Peak heat indices are expected between 105-110 degrees. Additional advisories may be needed over the weekend.
Drier conditions are expected over the weekend and into early next week, but isolated to scattered showers and storms will still be possible for portions of the region.
