
The Chamber’s Leadership Collier Foundation
has created a series of successful leadership programs
in Collier County – designed to hone the skills
of key leaders for the purpose of discussing challenges
and opportunities facing the community.
The Chamber’s successful Leadership
programs - Leadership Collier, Leadership Institute,
Youth Leadership Collier, Principal’s Leadership
and Leadership Alumni - hone the skills of key leaders
and provide them with understanding of and insights
into the challenges and opportunities facing the Greater
Naples area.
The Leadership programs of the Leadership
Collier Foundation are important to our community
because they:

The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce believes knowledge
is a key element and prime motivator of leadership.
Consequently, the primary objective of the Leadership
Collier Program is to educate local business leaders
about the societal and economic challenges facing
the community today. The nine-month program begins
in September and includes 10 full-day sessions.

The Leadership Institute is a focused, seven-day program
where highly accomplished community leaders with varied
backgrounds focus on community trusteeship, decision-making
skills and leadership styles. The seven, full-day
sessions are held every other week April through June.

GAIN is specifically designed for emerging leaders
and professionals (21 to 40ish) in Collier County.
Over a three month period GAIN participants will
go through a six-session series of workshops and
facilitated networking programs focused on professional
development.

The mission of Youth Leadership Collier (YLC) is to
develop student community leaders who possess the
skills, confidence and tools to make a difference
in their own lives while becoming effective leaders
in their “communities.” YLC intends to
instill the values and importance of community stewardship,
helping youth to create networks and resources within
their own community that will encourage involvement.
YLC is an intensive six-day program held the first
week of June.
