A: 75 degrees.

Q: What is the population of Collier County?
A: 341,000 (Oct. 2006 estimate)

Q: What is the population of Naples?
A: 24,000

Q: Do you have to pay to use the beach in Naples?
A: The beaches are open to the public but there is metered parking.

Q: How do I get a beach-parking pass?
A: Show residency and car registration or pay $10 for a weeks pass if you are a visitor.

Q: Where can I see Manatees?
A: There are a number of charter boats who specialize in Manatee sightings.

Q: Are there economy priced hotels located on the beaches?
A: The more moderately priced hotels are located inland from the beaches.

Q: Where can I go snorkeling?
A: The best snorkeling is on the east coast of Florida and best in the Keys.

Q: Where is the historic district?
A: Third Street and 12th Ave S is considered the older part of Naples and the area where the Palm Cottage is located.

Q: Where can I take an airboat ride?
A: The closest place is in Everglades City about 35 miles southeast of Naples.

Q: What is Tin City?
A: Tin City is a converted fishing village now housing shops and restaurants.

Q: Where can I see alligators?
A: The Caribbean Gardens, the Zoo in Naples has numerous alligators of all sizes. To see them in the wild you will need to go southeast to the Everglades.

Q: Is there a narrated tour of Naples?
A: Yes, the Naples Trolley Tours offers a regularly scheduled sightseeing tour through out the day.

Q: Where can I swim with the dolphins?
A: Swimming with the dolphins is illegal but there are research centers in the Keys where it is possible.

Q: Is there public transportation in Collier County?
A: Yes, CAT (collier county transit) services all of Collier County.

Q: Are dogs allowed on Naples beaches?
A: No, but there is a doggie park at Veterans Park and a dog beach on Bonita beach.

Q: What is the best restaurant in Naples?
A: There are too many to choose just one. Naples is known for fine dining.
